Definitely fewer available but numbers are creeping back up as they did around this time last year. Inventory always drops during summer and gradually increases beginning of fall into winter. There are currently 35 Strads for sale. Comparing same period last year there were 30 for sale with avg asking price of $164k vs 35 at $152k today.

My dad passed on one at 6K.
I guess the question is, what car are our kids wanting us to buy today.

It is such a unique car that gives a very special driving experience, with a growing cult following, it is a good bet.

As I have said before, the experience is very close to the F40.

Not mine--although the car and garage appear very similar :) My car is in Austin.

Best guess. The closest analog its the closest thing to a legitimate street/track car there is today.

I've been in an F40 a few times and just recently had the chance to ride in an Enzo ... let me tell you, the CS is a baby Enzo. If someone dropped you in an Enzo blindfolded and drove it without getting in deep, you would swear you were in a CS ... from the sound in the cockpit, the seats (mine were leather), the shifting to the creaking in the front suspension .... but, that all changes once thehammer is dropped.

The F40 is just beastly ... and the F50 is almost ridiculous (in a good way).

CS market in Switzerland definitely under pressure as a result of the 430 market being under pressure, a 430 SCUD is $50K cheaper than a year ago and a CS probably $30-35

That nero CS is still for sale. I was told it needs a little bit of work and seller is flexible on price. Peter (BigP1202) this one has your name on it; just remove the radio and drop in some harnesses. :)

I don't have any Enzo seat time, so I can't make the comparison. 'Baby Enzo' is good to know. The CS definitely follows Ferrari's hypercar formula. Which can only mean good things down the road.

Yes. The only thing worse than being a ten year old sports car is being a fifteen year old sports car.

I have a 360 and fully well apreciate it and CSs. Not meant to be a put down. I love them. It's just that many cars find themselves in the wilderness compared to being the wonderchild. That happens with the passing of time and the introduction of newer models. Nothing more, and I am a fan. :)

As I said, it's a good time to be buying.

Who's currently in the market for a pristine CS? PM me if you have any interest in a rosso scuderia w/ red/blk alcantara, hi-fi, 5200mi. I know of a killer one for sale.

Yes. Buddy of mine had his removed, though you'll still have the small tweeters under the dash. Factory hi-fi option was an after thought although I do enjoy mine on long trips.

Thanks.....Scott40 actually said he wouldN'T recommend it. My dream CS would have fabspeed headers, hf cats, and a Capristo L3 so I would have no need for tunes with 8 fine italian "speakers" behind me. :)

Did you save the Ebay pictures of that Nero Stradale? Maybe a little visual stimulation would help!
