Yup.... The car is a march 2011 turbo. My friend is the second owner. The first owner bought the car and put on all the options drove it for about 1000km, then heard the S was coming. He immediately pre ordered that and put up the first car for sale. So my friend got a really good deal.....
That's a steal! I found a few like that at the dealers but they were too greedy and wanted too much for a used Turbo...
Congratulations Will. Car is gorgeous in white. I have been going back and forth between 2011 ttS and regular tt manual transmission. I'll be interested to hear your driving impressions. Did you have a good experience with P of Downtown LA? Jim
Downtown LA Porsche was cool! I can refer you to the fleet manager if you're interested. I'll have more time to drive it next week, will report back! I was trying to choose between PDK and Manual as well. At the end, I thought the PDK is the reason to buy the new 2010-2011 Turbo or Turbo S, otherwise I don't think there's that much performance advantage between the manuals on the 2010-2011 and pre-2010.
Time for a drive up the PCH! Hopefully you have a safe wide spot to park in 'doctors only' lot. I'd be worried about parking that in front of the clinic. Jim
That's why I am keeping my beater. We want them to stay focused on our declining reimbursements not on the cars we drive!
i believe carrera white is the color of choice for the 911 turbo. i would love to see it with a red interior! on a cab, however, the interior should probably be black (to match the color of the top), for i believe a rag top should have a total of only 2 colors.
Ahh, I think the colors of choice are GT Silver over Black. Amazing. White is great on a GT3, but IMO, it's a little feminine on the Turbo. John
love it!!! thank you so much for posting these images of this rare color combination! how about a photo from the rear, showing the back of the seats. and one with the top up! thanks. were you "nickeled and dimed" for extra read leather options in the interior? i agree that white is a slightly feminine color on this car--my wife will be driving it. GT silver would be my color of choice for the coupe!!
To all, thanks for this thread. I'm a bit excited about the prospects of having one of these cars. I know that I'm at an age where maturity will probably make me want comfort more that performance. So, before I get there I'm going to have to sample some incredible pull. It's funny that when we were younger we knew all the stats. Now I don't. And don't really care. Inconcievable when we were younger and envying our elders.
i saw this at mototrend. It's just a "regular" TT. It looks nice in white. However I would take my TT Coupe in GT Silver w/ Bourdeux leather. Luv the center lox. Image Unavailable, Please Login
