Hey Audi, I assume you are referring to the Galaxy S, the top-of-the-line model? Coz the Galaxy series has a few other lower spec variants. It looks 90% similar to the iPhone 3GS but specs are better. It is also comparable with, if not better, than HTC Desire. I just tried out the Galaxy S today and I must say I'm quite impressed with it. It has a 1Ghz processor and 4 inch AMOLED screen though the large screen size causes the pixels to load slower so scrolling is not as smooth compared to the 3GS and Desire. It doesn't have flash for camera but rather a built-in night mode feature that allows you to take even clearer shots at night compared to other phones with flash. One interesting feature would be the Swipe SMS. Basically, you swipe your finger over the alphabets to form a word (eg. W-h-a-t) and the phone will automatically detect it. Handwriting function also supports both English letters and Chinese characters at the same time, whereas most phones only support Chinese characters. The Office application in the Galaxy allows you to create and editWord docs, Excel spreadsheets and this is currently the only phone that can create PowerPoint slides as well. Some phones only allow viewing of docs, unless you download paid external applications that allow editing. It's pretty easy to get familiarized with the Galaxy if you have used other Android phones before. If you have used an iPhone before, it's almost identical in terms of layout and usage to some extent. It also has 16GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB (iPhone doesn't have expandable memory). As for pricing, M1 and Starhub is slightly more expensive as they just launched it last week. Singtel launched it some time back so it's slightly cheaper (about $100-$200) if you go for their high-end plans. The introduction of Mio has been quite a pain in the ass. The images are distorted occasionally and operating two systems is just confusing..
Agree on the music, would have preferred to hear more exhaust note. But other than that, a very good attempt! KUTGW Winston!
Yep. Went over to Times Sq area to have teochew porridge & saw no less than 4 road blocks.....saw few bikers sneaked off before a road block.

i think the problem occurs when you switch the box on and off. i leave it on and its been working alrite so far. but there is the occasional blurry screen and freeze.
