anyone have insight, good or bad on this car? thanks http://www.mgmsl.com/nlisting.cfm?ID=5f356191%2Da953%2D47df%2D9fa6%2Da42db5830e14
1. That car is gorgeous! 2. I never bought a car from them but in the Lebron (Cavilers) days I was in Cleveland several times and have stopped in just to look around. I was always treated as if I was a long time customer, had they had what I was looking for when I was in the market I would have been very comfortable dealing with them. Just my 0.2
I know them well......they are 20 mins from my house. Very reputable with very excellent low mileage vehicles. If you need me to check it out let me know Chas
Well it isn't painted arrest me red. Instead it's the more subtle but initially very popular Silverstone color. It doesn't have the Italian tri-color stripe so no worries about them getting the green stripe on the wrong side of the car. It does have my preference; the black stripe. It is a limited production model compared to the mass produced flavour of choice for the moment; the 458 Italia. The Italia won't be avaliable as a convertible for some time yet either. What's not to like? With a mere 220 miles showing and 65 of those miles were probably put on by some lead-foot Ferrari factory test driver it's still practically a new car. However the asking price would seem to leave some room for negotiation. My personal choice would be the Verde Pino Scuderia advertised as 1 of 1 and probably for good reason with that color combination. It still has not sold after many months and two different dealerships. All the details are here> http://ferrariofnewportbeach.com/details.html?VID=1-256l1261866305 The Silverstone 16M is obviously a much safer place to park some money if you are expecting any sort of dollar return later. Especially compared with a green Ferrari for which no buyer has appeared in many months. Still the green Ferrari stands tall as a one of a kind Scuderia in a sea of red or black or yellow models. CH
Considering that the 16M is one year old, its pretty amazing (considering recent Ferrari depreciation) that dealers are still asking approximately MSRP. Despite the fact that the actual sale price will be slightly lower, these cars have held their value surprisingly well. Beautiful car, that will no doubt exceed your expectations! Tim
thanks everyone for getting back, appreciate the support. its a beautiful car and having about 1500 miles seat time in a 16M, i know what the car is about. will let you know. tim, sooner or later we will meet in person. we used have the black 16 in SD, still have the 430 spider / gt40 / sunbeam tiger. maybe see you at CC or SS cheers cal
I've dealt there before, ask for RJ. Wholesale on red cars is about 275, so there's plenty of room to negotiate. 16M market has been soft, so don't buy it as an investment. Darn fun car to drive, however.
