Seen in The Sun back on 4 June, though I was just sent this a few days ago:

A TYCOON wrote off his £160,000 Ferrari — swerving to avoid a RABBIT.
Phil Miller, 36, lost control of the orange F1 430 and went 40ft through undergrowth before ploughing into a tree.

The property millionaire and his female passenger were not hurt in the crash near Canterbury, Kent, last week.

Phil said: "I can’t believe how far off the road it came."

He was insured and Ferrari took a brand new Aston Martin to his mansion in Woodnesborough as a courtesy car.

Phil also has another Ferrari and a Lamborghini Diablo.

PETA may get all happy with you, but they're not gonna replace your car.

Hit Bugs, and keep Yosemite Sam's recipe for hossenfeffer handy in the glovebox.

Maybe that will cure him of his "swerve response" when a rodent runs out in front of him. It can be a difficult instinct to overcome, unless you ride a motorcycle frequently.

I killed a bunch of rabbits in my F355. They all crawled in my engine bay to keep warm over night. When I started the engine the next morning... gory.

Adios rabbit, if he wanders into my path and it's either him or me. I would brake for the beast but would never go off road.

About 2 weeks ago, I did not have this problem. The rabbit hopped right in front of my 360 as I was humming along at 70 and I did not flinch or hesitate for a millisecond. No dents as he hit essentially under the bumper. Just an unfortunate smell from rabbit bits here and fro.

There are more rabbits in my neighborhood than Ferrari's ever made in all of history. Nuff said.

I have found that with animals the best idea is to maintain speed and look to go behind them. Don't aim the vehicle to go behind them, just look with your eyes to go behind them.

I hit a dog to save my Ferrari. No parades for me.

And my attorneys have told me not to talk about the child I hit to avoid the kitten... :)
