Took off my wheels and the shock body is threaded with height adjusters. I assuming the car can be lowered just like any other aftermarket coilovers, right? Or will there be any error codes if I mess with it?

Yes, it is height adjustable. However, though many owners have done it, just screwing down the ride height is generally not recommended. Besides possible aerodynamic unbalances, there will be suspension geometry changes as well. Without the correct set-up by a competent shop, you may have handling problems.

As Rob said, lots of F430 owners have done this and I think it looks awesome. While I didn't read the 458 thread, I know it's recommended to get a new alignment after you lower the car.

I've left my F430 at stock ride-height because I hit the ground enough as it is, I can't imagine what it would be like if I dropped an inch or so.

US. spec cars are higher then the ROW 430s due to bumper height regulations. From what I've been told the spring rates and the shocks are identical, so if you decide to bring it to ROW height which is 3/4" lower and have a corner balanced, aligned car should be perfect.

I remember reading on here that the European cars are 22mm lower than the US versions.

And we think our EU spec cars are high. Yours are +22mm.
Lowered mine, and got a -1.6 deg. camber front. Perfect for me.

What measure do you have from center cap to fender edge?
