    Thanks guys.
Its a PRB, chassis number 66. So has a full compliance plate etc, unlike the home built jobbies. lolz

    Toyota 16v 4age
T50 box with TRD close ratio gearset
    Kaaz LSD
    4.3 TRD cwp
    Lightweight flywheel and HD clutch
    Caterham JPE aeroscreen
    Caterham fibreglass R500 seats
    Caterham CF sill protectors
    Sabelt harnesses for both seats
    Momo 290mm suede steering wheel
    Spa removable hub
    CF guards all round
    CF effect headlights
    Extra widetrack front suspension
New lightweight cross drilled front discs
    2 way adjustable Koni's 2811
    Eibach springs with rear helpers
    Fully rosejointed
13x6.5 and 13x8" Circle Track lightweight alloy rims
    Toyo Proxes R888 tyres

The last owner left no part un-upgraded. He really went over the top. Eat breakfast off the engine etc.

I'm hoping Horse n Co get their fingers out so she has some playmates soon.

Yes, Greg, I still want a Ferrari but this will do to be going on with in the mean time.
The car is faster than I am and certainly gives me a driving challenge that'll keep me busy and grinning for the foreseeable future.
Damn thing only weighs 525 Kg!

Congrats!! Such a fun toy to keep you on your toes :D

Which are the wheels you have on it - the minilight replicas or the other ones?

It has the Circle Tracks on it now.
The last owner replaced every part he could find a better or lighter alternative.
Clubbies are known for light weight but the 525 Kg he pared her down to is less than most by a long way.
Most of the replaced stuff came with it too. From an economic perspective I've been fortunate to get a great buy.
I like the current wheels and the windscreen allows its full wet weather gear to be used but I love the Caterham aeroscreen look and will switch them over for a try at some point.

    Oh nice! congrats!

I drove a PRB around Eastern Creek once and went like a scalded cat, also a mate's one country roads around Orange.

I remember from the Orange experience you can cop a hiding with grit and stuff in your face.. what will you wear when driving open road?

I love the idea of the aero screen still though..

Thanks. The grins to dollars ratio is particularly strong. lolz
With its blueprinted and balanced motor in common with Formula Atlantic cars, at 525 Kg compared to an Atlantic's min weight of 558 Kg (including driver) its close to road registered Formula Atlantic performance. A lot less slippery a shape though.

Yes Speedy. I've been looking at a short list of individual cars.
I must say the F-chat gang have been a lot of fun and help each place I've gone.

    Thanks Wax.
Egress is straight forward enough but ingress has its issues.
It meets my strategies criteria though. A car that motivates me enough to push through and hopefully regain flexibility and muscle tone before I lose it completely.
You could sell tickets to the sight of me struggling into various F-chatter's cars lately. Fortunately the drivers side of wide-silled GT cars is a lot easier than passengers, or at least that's my story. lol
I love being under doctor's orders to drive a sportscar! rofl

I've got by with wrap around sunnys and a beanie so far but am planning on a pair of open face helmets with full screens. The bike crowd have no end of solutions including face masks and such.
With the side screens on its surprisingly calm in the car. Using a bic lighter is quite feasible.
My inner child likes the idea of painting helmets to match and adding bluetooth for phone and music though, if I don't feel like too much of a wanker when I try it.
I may decide to put it on a trailer for long road hauls which would make bluetooth a bit unnecessary. Its not the car to get caught on wet roads in.

Yes you'll need some coverage of some sort.. good there's a couple options doesn't make you look/feel too much the, err "wanker" as you say..

How's the pedal box for you? My recall tightish in there and you want to be modest/normal foot size and slim footwear on top if don't want to be hitting 2 conflicting pedals at once. Doesn't exactly suit Shrek sizes for seat or feet! lol.

This pic taken in 06 when I had a test drive at EC, must be similar model to yours with steel tube frame?

Didn't PRB offer some "honeycomb" option circa then too? not sure if that had to be factory built though.

Size #9 driving shoes get the job done. I'll tinker with the driving position as the pedal heights are adjustable and the seat has adjustment in both directions from its current position.
Its all very hair trigger. The close ratio rack and switch like clutch keep the attention focused.
Quite likely I'll go to a slightly larger clutch master-cylinder to lesson its on off nature a bit.

Of course Hughie picked today to send down some needed rain up here! :(

We have spent a lot of time getting the pedal box / placement right.
