VERY nice Bruce! What king are they, Sparco? What about fitment, will you have to modify your center console?
Bruce- Great buy and you beat out a lot of Maranello owners who wanted those 575M seats. All that carbon fiber looks great, especially when polished. Taz Terry Phillips
Yes they are OEM Ferrari seats made by Sparco.....you wouldn't believe how light they are. I already have made the seat brackets to work with no mods to console.
NO....they are 360/360CS/575. The carbon sections are identical to the 360CS.....stitch pattern on leather and silver seat belt pass thru are only difference.
It was just luck....my bid went in with one second remaining and NO bid software can react that fast. I will begin polishing the seats next week. Here is a pic of my side mirrors I just finished. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Those look sweet, Bruce. But we're tired of seeing parts pics .......we wanna see the completed car!!!
Don't think he will ever get off the ground....especially with all those giant plants adjoining his airfield...lol
I'm doing the impossible...putting in a spider with custom roll bar and modified 348spider top.....lol
You are crazy Bruce lol!!! Will you be using stock 3 point or full race harness?? EDIT: I guess it is mandatory to use those two holes on top, so full harness it is EDIT2: BTW this nice girl here is looking for some carbon seats to sit in ........ Image Unavailable, Please Login
There's the good old Oz we know and love!!!! We haven't had any 'flesh' controversy here for a while. Keep 'em coming! Jetfixr had a boobie request to you on another thread.
What/how do you guys recommend to polish carbon fiber seat? Just like one would polish a car. Seats look fantastic!
Bruce- Tell me about the CF mirrors. Would love to do that on my 575M. Contact Bradan on what they use to polish CF. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=294969 Never mind, see following post. Taz Terry Phillips
I use Meguiars M205 with a 4″ Tangerine Hydro-Tech pad and a Porter Cable 7424XP D/A polisher. After polishing I wipe it down with Meguiars M34 Final Inspection to remove all of the residue from the polish, and then top it off with Blackfires Wet Diamond sealant. This adds even more gloss along with a layer of durable protection as well.
Taz, this was not easy....I finally had to get it made in Germany. May want to talk to Rabbit(Jim Downings shop in Atlanta).....he has been doing CF work since the 80's and is one of the best.
I can do better than carbon seats if she's looking for a place to sit down. (bad, bad Daniel. No more gin on a Saturday afternoon)
