Can anyone tell me about this cars history/condition etc.? http://ferrariofnewportbeach.com/details.html?VID=1-256l1282868311 Whats a fair selling price? Thanks
I've known this car since the day it was delivered to a friend of mine at FoOC back in 04. If I were looking for a CS I would have purchased it straight from him. It is IMO one of the best and is very elegant with its black leater and red stitching interior. As to price, It is difficult to throw figures these days but it should be right up there at the high end of the range.
price seems a bit high. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-Challenge-Stradale-Scuderia-Red-LEASE-FINANCE-/130427016679?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item1e5e0e55e7 nearly same car with 10,000 more miles but $30,000 less. disclaimer (without seeing both cars in person, I can not comment on the condition of each car)
You're comparing apples to oranges; they are not "nearly same car". It'll cost $25k+ alone to restore cats and exhaust to OEM if someone wanted to go that route.
Had lunch with the owner 2 years ago (mini Stradale get together). The car was "as new." BTW: I don't think a five owner car can be considered the same as this one owner car.
I personally know the owner of the CS for over ten years, I would say all his cars are the beat kept and maintained cars in the world. If one word to describe his car ownership would be anal. Everything has to be perfect. Whoever pick up this CS would be very luck to own a very good condition and well maintained CS.
Are you saying the car was sold? I still see a red CS in Newport Beach's inventory. Is this the same car you guys are commenting on? I am looking for a low mile clean CS.
Deal fell through and it's available again. PM me if you're interested in a low mileage, rosso scuderia CS with all the right options.
