I wish! We really didn't get to do what we wanted. I did massive refitting of the boat that took longer than planned and then engine issues resulting in a repower further delayed us getting really away. We spent the winter in the Bahamas. My wife has now developed serious medical problems that are curtailing our long term cruising plans.... at least for now. I am selling the boat. You can learn more about the boat and our cruising adventures at our blog, here: http://www.sailblogs.com/member/svlilliemae/ Terry

Cool Carlson! I had a yellow CV20 with built outboard. It was in Hot Boat mag once. They really ride nicely for a family performance oriented hull. Have you seen the YouTube vids of the guy who is making 125 MPH passes in a 16'er? Insane little boat!
Dave, this one has your name written all over it: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/boa/1933077549.html The Ocean Racer is for sale and needs to go to a loving new owner! http://www.nobelag.com/REDONDO.html for more pictures!
Last time out was in a pedal boat! Foolish of me to think I wouldn't be the only one pedaling! It took a half hour to get out to the bait receiver (where the seals were) but Eric enjoyed them.
thats awesome for a boat that size. I like big boats that go fast. I'm struggling to get 50 in a 35 footer (I'm at 5,000ft elevation). What powerplants are in that beast?
not really surprising ... NA power plants lose efficiency (and power) as you go up in altitude ... okie ... here goes ... 2 x MTU 16V 2000 M93 diesel engines delivering 2,435 HP each. The engines are connected to 2 Arnerson ASD 15L surface drives. Her handling at speed is like a go-kart on steroids ... She weighs in at 119,050 lbs (abt 55 tons) unladen and 139,112 lbs (abt 65 tons) fully laden. Lemme know if you want any more detailed info.
