I think PM has paid them already, not much need to replace them as I am sure they have a contractural obligation to PM.
LoL... I agree on everyone's taste that the car should be more red. I think the F2007 had one of the best colour scheme. Image Unavailable, Please Login
its amazing how ugly the car is now compared to 2007 and the sad thing is it's actually one of the better looking ones...
The most beautiful scheme IMO where the early '90s and the 2002-2006 cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I agree...The F10 is almost 80cm longer than cars 3 years ago. And the front end on pretty much all F1 cars now is just so ugly .
The fact that we're at a point where the idea of MORE advertising is attractive to some speaks volumes.
I love that colour!! I don't know why they didn't stick with it. Also thats probably my favourite Ferrari of the 2k's. And yes I do think they need a new sponsor something else with a red back ground like coca cola for example lol, although I do like the red and white of Santander.
While we are on the subject of Santander, am I the only one that hates these Santander logo trophies they have been giving out? I thought there was a rule that said the trophies could not be corporate logos? I guess Santander paid BE to get that changed. Anyway they are ugly and uninspired...
Some of my favourites...I really think the current F1 cars are ugly as hell... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
They are but IMHO that has more to do with the puny wings and poor proportions than it does with surface decoration.
I had read sometime ago(5or 6 years ago) That PM had structured a deal with Ferrari that they would "buy" the entire space on the car for a pre determined amount. Shell space excluded as Shell has been a main sponsor for many years if not decades Any subsequent sponsor that did not clash with the Marlboro brand would in effect lease the space from PM although Ferrari would be the contracting party along with PM. At the time the deal had been rumoured at roughly $200m per year. Wether it was all hot air or not I cannot say therefore I stand to be corrected.
Now, if Marlboro were to contact Rob so they could be a Sponsor here . . . FerrariChat would look slick on there.
