How come it is not available on US F430 F1's? I was surprised to hear that for a market that must be huge for Ferrari.
I had a tech session at the dealership on the F1 transmission's workings a couple of weeks ago. The tech said if you use the "F1 launch", it will eat a clutch in about 5 uses. In the US, that would be about one hour of driving. Between that and possible lawsuits and public "outrage", they didn't include it. Personally, I don't see the big deal. The F430 is not a street drag racer.
