Alright I'm finally back after almost a month away from home & thank goodness, my car starts on first crank!

Nah, this place will be boring without u :D Seriously, u staying on this island for another few years or for good?

    Wonderful stuff! black PVD somemore

How about trying a Pdk or one of those clutchless system? They won't allow miss-shifts & bloody quick on TDs so u can concentrate on your lines & braking pts.

Yo, your fingers are supposed to be doing something else :p

Hello.... may I know what happened to Morton's ?

Tim, are you referring to your CS?

Why don't you fit all weather performance tyres for this car then a set of semi-S for TDs for that occasional fun?

I have a fair bit of experience with old & even 2nd hand tyres & they last far longer than we'd expect though I'm not going to preach this :p

There was one article that a motoring journalist took a Countach out on 25yrs old tyres (probably Perilli P7s) but of course he didn't push it too hard. Still, he went to the mountains with it & of course came back nicely or the owner wouldn't be pleased.

Hey Winston, thanks for the photos. Saw that 2nd session was pouring. Where did you hide to protect your precious camera and yet shoot those pics?

Fav pic was of Wee hann's 308 with another 308 in the background. Nice!

I was at the first table near to the left hand corner sitting beside Greg, Jackson from PCS and opps of Gras. Met Lung too but really sorry did not know most FOC members there as I am new to the club.

I badly need to put face to the nick when I go for the next FOC event. :)

Guys, I saw this on another car that interests me.

You know those drilled holes on the brake discs? I see hairline cracks coming across the holes on all four discs. Is it time to change them? Should be Brembo stuff.

Yah, I have heard that it is a common issue on drill discs. Slotted have their own issues as well. But they look so nice! Was also toying with fitting slots or drilled disc for the future. Don't track so I suppose the heat induced problems shouldn't really affect me?

Depends how big the cracks are Jon. They can easily go to 1cm before you get too concerned about them disintegrating.

Yes, known for this but this is the 1st time I see them that bad. Every single hole has cracks abt 1cm+/-. Car is heavy on negative camber so I guess it's heavily tracked which is strange as it's too heavy for a track car.

I'm prepared to switch out the rotors. Anyway, they'll take a week or two to fix other areas before I have a test drive & hoist it up for a thorough PPI. Hope it's a good unit.

Jon, with cracks at 1cm, this is on either side of the hole or 1cm side to side with the hole in the centre. If 1cm either side (ie: 2cm crack end to end) and significant negative camber, definitely tracked. Mate, heavy is relative.... is it as heavy as a Skyline GTR?

    What car is it?
