...for developers anyway. You can now use Flash CS5 to author your iPhone apps!!! This is a big deal for Adobe developers.

Yeah, because adobe threatened to not include photoshop on the nextgen release of the Apple software for 2010. It would have killed their sales by 20% easy.

Source? Where did you get "20%" from?

We know they're not best buddies right now, but not releasing PS for the Mac would also hurt Adobe, not just Apple......

    Cheers,

@Jedi: No, Flash will not be on the devices. This is only for those who are creating the apps. Some folks like to use Adobe to design and assemble the app before porting it to iOS format. Apple had blocked that, and forced app designers to use the SDK and Objective C language. This ruffled some feathers due to a lot of folks not wanting to learn a new programming language.

I have not seen any Macs coming with Photoshop installed.
As far as sales numbers go, most Mac buyers dont buy Macs because of Adobe products.
Photoshop did NOT make Apple popular. Apple made Adobe popular. Adobe would be dead many times over had Apple not included their products back in the day.

As far as Flash being enabled on iOS devices?
    Hell no.

I installed the iOS ported version of Flash 10.1 (called Frash, and your device has to be jailbroken) and all I got for it was less battery life, and animated advertisements in my browser. Not once did I have the "wow, I missed this" moment. All I had was the "no wonder it doesnt come on the device" moment.
