I know, I bet the game will feel so nice, with the engine of dirt2 itll be great. The steering response is great in dirt2 and I cant imagine how great itll feel in a F1 game. Spa here I come!

Didn't know the DIRT2 part. That's very promising: Driving that single seater in Dirt2 is almost like a F1. This is gonna be good.

 

Even better!. We need to have a tourny soon after the game comes out. It will be a great game to play with clean racers Im sure.

 

I figured it was time to move up to the big league. GT5 is coming out later in the year too, so I'll definitely be picking that up as well.

 

Pre-ordered for xbox 360, going to stick with lotus through career and get them to the front of the grid... then in the final years move to ferrari

Codemasters' F1 2010 fills a yearning chasm, and it jumps its first hurdle brilliantly; this is as visceral a take on the art of threading 600bhp through less than half a tonnes' worth of steel, carbon fibre and rubber as a console's ever seen. Driving these things is every bit as joyous as it should be, and the cars manage to nail the perfect blend of being predictable yet terrifying; bulls-eying apexes is an easy enough exercise thanks to the pounds of downforce generated by the car's wings, but braking and acceleration can prove delightfully skittish as they threaten to spear themselves into the nearest wall – and any worries that the arcade bent of DiRT and GRID would make its way to F1 2010 are extinguished in one run.

I went to Gamestop & pre-ordered the GT5 collectors edition yesterday, also asked about F1 2010. They couldn't find record of the release in their system. I guess they weren't trying hard enough.

Given that the game is shipping today - and because a lot of us will likely have it tomorrow morning - let's get everyone's first impressions of the game, tips, strategies, reviews, etc.

At some point, let's be sure to set up a few FChat leagues as well.

I will be getting the game on PC, XBOX 360 and PS3. Yes - I am a geek.

I sure hope that this game lives up to its hype - both from the trailers and what we saw at E3 this year.
