Boys, not sure how far u guys want to go with this but the Vicom guys are getting very anal about inspections lately though u can always argue that they don't know much abt exotics but still, they are getting a hard-on if u know what I mean.

Tim, do u know the Db of the CS on idle now?

actually how does the science of loudness work? if a car with 5db is parked next to a car with 7db, is the loudness of the two 12 db or just 7db

It's yearly after 3yrs old. Got to check your road tax disc.

Don't know man but they always put a probe to the tailpipe which also registers the Db. I think anything under 100 is ok & I've never asked since they were never that loud.

It should be once 2 yearly after 3yrs for the LTA inspection. After 10yrs, the car will need to do yearly inspection.

Every 2 years till 10. Then every year. But for your car, just act blur and say the car was made like that! Mine also got test pipes so just act blur :D.

If they get a hard on hearing our cars, they will get a pre-mature orgasm when Tim drives thru the inspection bay!

db is an exponential scale so just 3 db extra is twice the loundness, if I recall correctly from my science lessons many decades ago.

Would have to agree! Neither retro nor modern. Trying to look like the old gullwing but does not pull it off.
