The boys will enjoy that. I'm a big kid and love the rides myself. Edit: Seaworld has a really good area for young children. Wasn't quite completed on my last visit. ND will love it.
Me to ,I'm going next week to the Royal show,I just love being weeded upon from the chairlift by some feral/bogan. Love the way society is crumbling.
I'll let you know if we are going; but expect a boycott if it's Vietnamese There's a reason that race are so bloody tiny!
Are you guys taking PP as well? He enjoys the rides too. Make sure you buy him a showbag, as he sulks in the back seat all the way home if you don't!
Yep, will slot one straight into my 348 when I blow it up. Trust me, after 5 mins of driving Rob and Jen around they will want the first plane out of here. Buchanan Park/horse race track. Buchanan park is now where the Rodeo is. Also hold concerts, monster trucks, Crusty Demons in there etc..etc. The big dirt patch is the race track. There are monthly race meets and A LOT of people go to it. Drink all day and night. Xstrata also has a big shed (pavilion) and they hold the annual Mining Expo in there. http://www.mountisa.qld.gov.au/web/guest/buchanan-park;jsessionid=9420240A1B9A0DBFFBC533227503876F
thanks for the invite ,I'm going next wednesday to see the Border Terriers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
Just saw a report on TV that explains Pap. Seems that lead from the mine has caused brain damage to the residents of Mt Isa. Some people are sueing the company on behalf of the brain damaged, presumably Pap.
One of my Mum's friends is suing the company for this. She had a baby girl, premature, while in her late 40's. Anywho, she is suing the company because her now 6-7 yr old daughter is "slow" and not growing like every other 6-7 yr old girl. She is a small little girl. Mum is blaming the lead levels in Mount Isa while she lived here. They moved around 18 months ago now. The poor childs health has nothing to do with her obese, smoking, alcholic, diabetic mother now does it? Its funny, my Dad has been here 56 yrs, worked underground for 42 of those yrs in a HIGH lead risk area and he was never once "leaded out". We get our blood lead levels checked every 12 months and I have never heard of anyone being removed because of high lead levels in the 6 yrs I have been there. Then people come along and have their kids tested and have 'high' lead levels. They reckon it comes down to personal hygiene. Kids play in dirt, then stuff toys/stuff in their mouths. Especially the little ones. Anywho, I think its a crock of **** and its quite obvious people/parents are just trying to cash in. 5% of kids here still have unsafe lead levels. That 5% is probably the aboriginal kids living in the river that get free lead level testing. http://news.ninemsn.com.au/national/7962809/lead-harming-mining-town-children
