I got a free month trial for Netflix yesterday, added a TV show and got it today. I watched Royal Pains. I've seen most of Season 2 and I really liked it, just missed the first season, so just playing catch-up. I definitely recommend it, if you haven't seen it.
I finally saw Super Size Me last night on Netflix. I wasn't a fan of McDonald's food anyway but scary to know how many people eat fast food way too often.
Kick-Ass - a nice surprise - thumbs up Rampage - There are days I feel this guy's pain - thumbs up Thanks to those here that help me w/ my Q
Road to Al Quaeda Documentary currently on HBO. Absolutely fascinating. Best docu I've seen on this topic. Should be mandatory viewing for all FL priests.
Takers....good show, I enjoyed it. Not totally predictable like alot of "those" types of shows are, worth seeing.
I watched Inglorious Basterds over the weekend. I'm finally catching up on 2009... Good movie, pretty entertaining.
If you enjoyed the other Rodriguez movies, yes. I enjoyed it but wouldnt buy/rent/dl it to see it again.
Just rented The Invention Of Lying, and Juno. The Invention Of Lying was great for the first ~60 minutes, then it quickly wend downhill. Juno was great. Jennifer Garner in both of 'em. Just a coincidence.
Watched the Fourth Kind last night. Don't waste your time. At least I didn't pay for the rental. If you watch it they could have filmed it in downtown Dallas and that would be as accurate depiction of Nome AK as where they filmed it.
Sunshine Cleaners. Funny dark comedy about two women who start a business cleaning up blood and other mess at crime scenes.
Death Proof - It film seemed to drag on for too long until the action picked up, the driving stunts were excellent but that was about it. Btw I didn't know it was filmed in Austin. On another note this might explain but that would explain why Quentin Tarantino treats the locals like a complete crap, long time Austin residents have told me he's a real ******* to deal with & has been asked to leave various bars & restaurants.
Macgruber. Probably the worst, least funny SNL based movie ever. Don't waste your time. It seems like the writers phoned this one in.
The A-team. Pretty fun, everything explodes. Unrealistic things happen quite a bit (at one point, a tank hanging down from just 1 broken parachute, or a container held above water by attaching a few airbags). I'd see it again some time, now waiting for 'the other guys' movie...
Anyone seen The Devil? curious how that one will be... Saw the Other Guys and it was funny in the beginning but got real slow near the end... The Expendables was about as good as a Stallone movie can get...
