Any Singapore Ferrari owners?

So would you advise to stick to the traditional Tubis/Larinis instead of Fabspeeds and whatever newbies that just came to the market?

 

Hmm.. Most of us will end up looking elsewhere to see if she gets in, ahem, graciously or exposes!

 

And he wants it louder! I always knew he had a hearing issue .

 

What happens if you rojak the exhaust system by having say, Fabspeed headers, Tubi muffler and no cats? Or should you stick to a complete Tubi system throughout?

 

is this a ferrari only event?

 

Like what Harold explained. I'm pretty cool to mix them but header design & manufacture is a little science/experience/quality with little Hp gain. Usually 10-15hp as claimed unless dynoed pre & aft. For a Ferrari with 400Hp, that's probably not a lot of gain @ USD3-4K.

Jap car headers usually cost USD1K+/- due to 4 cylinders & quantity.

Not ideal to heat wrap headers & you'll need to wired them together but our wet weather traps moisture within & causes headers to crack so ceramic coat will be ideal.

Running without Cats will need you to fix the sensors which is not too difficult but may need re-tuning of ECU. It will also be a lot louder since it's straight through. Years ago, there was a Gallardo which ran non-cats & quicksilver muffler, it sounded heavenly but was phewing a lot of unburnt petrol out with a dirty back & very poor on fuel consumption, probably way too rich.

I haven't been able to find the thread on back pressure, read it from a local Honda forum which makes a lot of sense. Writer mentions that we don't want back pressure in an exhaust system. The faster hot gas travels out the better BUT it doesn't mean the larger pipe the better & the designer needs to carefully consider the diameter to have the gas released as fast & efficient. Something like a water pipe where the smaller outlet release water faster, it's all about balance. There's another place where says that back pressure affects the valves as well. Oh well, too much theory for me.

I'd rather spend the money on driving school & a light weight battery or lose weight!

Porsche charges a cool GBP1100 for the lithium battery in the RS. Justin, did u opt for this? The 10Kg saved is suddenly quite reasonable when you think about the carbon you need to replace for the same weight savings!

GBP1100 after converting to sing abt 2200 + tax= SGD7000 plus unfortunately yes i did. regret! and 1 year warranty only! lol i would rather spend 7k on an exhaust at least i get to hear the difference. my opinion none of us will fully utilise the 10kg weight saving.

mine is rojak, tubi ngt box,kinetix cats (are these made by vivd? theyre really quite good so far) n stock headers(hopefully to be changed to something lighter). a common complaint is that precat material in 355 n 360 headers can crack/ break up, get sucked into engine . sport headers will hv no precat material inside i believe
