It looks really bad for a lot of the SC players with LK taking over for the next few years. I don't think they are being coached well just yet, but the seniors that signed up under Pete may really get screwed.

They are barely winning the games they have and against weak little teams.

    It doesn't matter.

If they are big and fast, and fundamentally sound, they WILL get noticed by the NFL, USC's won-loss record or MOV has ZERO to do with anything.

But keep in mind: they are there to get an education, not prepare for pro sports (sic).

Win Loss doesn't matter for the draft. The NFL loves "prototypical" NFL size and combine stats. If you're big and fast you'll usually get a shot to show your stuff for an NFL team in training camp as an undrafted free agent at the least.

If any of the players felt uncomfortable with the new staff after being recruited by Carroll, they could have put in for transfers and retained eligibility. If they chose to stay, so be it.

I consider DI NCAA athletes to be 'professional' athletes, especially in football. Getting an education is certainly optional and their lives are run through their sport.

And Kiffin was at USC, so he knows all of the recruits very well, since they usually start recruiting when a kid is in 10th grade. LK left USC in, what, 2006, 2007??
