Machete...surprisingly good.
The Haunted World of El Superbeasto - A "very entertaining" Rob Zombie animated film that reminds me of Ralph Bakshi's & Robert Crumb's style of work.
WHAT?! I haven't seen it, but it has to be good when you can scare someone countless times after watching a movie about Exorcisms. BAH!
The girl with the dragon tattoo.... Great book and great movie, the subtitles aren't ideal but still an excellent film
that's what made it good I went to see it with fairly low expectations, and was pleasantly surprised.
What came over you to even give it a try I loved it until the very end. I felt it was very suspenseful and moody. Had a 70s feel which I like. but the end... yuck Thats a fun one...
Just saw Devil... fantastic movie that doesnt need special effects or action scenes to create tension.
couldn't sleep last night, so I stayed up and watched Witness and Kramer vs. Kramer (made in 1985 and 1979, respectively). I had seen both previously, but more than ten years ago. I was surprised at a) how simple/sparse the movies were, and b) how much of the emotional connection to the characters was visual (through facial expressions, etc) and not purely dialogue-driven. we all b!tch and moan about too much "action" in movies now....maybe there's too much "talking" too?
If I go see it and I get scared, will you hold me? seriously though, it does look interesting and I'm not a horror genre fan. or a fan of M. Night, either.
