u surely not talking to me right? Was in at Garage R last week.. Think Lester likes you ...a lot. He took my car in becos of you..
Sad but true.. Yeah the long charging time and limited range (gets even worse if you push the car too hard) are really the pitfalls of the electric car. As long as these two issues are not resolved, I don't see a bright future.
only if you like rarified air. read my pm L and i go back a long way - 1996. told him to take care of my pervy brudder
Wow, that's very brave of them to bring it in. Wonder if there's any "green" incentive from govt. Did they say how long it takes to charge & performance figures? Looks like a Lotus to me.
It's sold with one of those leather/pvc cover that you button it up. Which I didn't even inspect. My 964 has it too but dumped it in my storeroom. Given that our weather changes too fast & we don't leave it open in the carparks too.
this was the roadster 'sport' version, whatever that means. 250k even if tax exemption granted. else 400+ for, essentially, an elise with longer wheelbase. 10hrs one full charge
Well. One day when the govt tells u we've run out of oil down there, we'll have to suck thumb with this & keep all our Ferraris as sculptures. Then, we'll be able to pick up batteries like canisters to reload immediately & go. That'll work. Wasn't there some cities that tried out electric cars several years ago?
The Sport version has more interior luxuries (relative to an Elise) and is more performance-oriented than the original Roadster. That's cheaper than I thought it would be though. It's being sold in UK for over 100k GBP. I won't wanna run out of juice and get stranded on the highway!
