    Does anyone know if Chinetti's records for Ferrari imports and sales in the 1960s have been preserved and who might have them?

    Lou "Coco" Chinetti jr has them but he is very private about them.

    Why do you think there has not been a Nart book published?

    Better luck borrowing the vatican archives for the week end:)

    Suggest best chance would be to approach him with a specific set of questions about whatever cars you are interested in.

    At one time Rick Anderson had a lot of the Chinetti papers but don't know if they stayed with him after the fallout.

    Someone else told me that all/most of the Chinetti papers went to someone years ago.

    Then again this past summer another person said much is still with Lou.

    Doesn't Gerald Roush have some of the Chinetti business records? He was collecting information long before it became fashionable.
    There was also a huge collection of factory build sheets in another paper collection that no one wanted to buy, years ago...

    Last year I requested information about my car from Mr. Chinetti. He answered courteously and promptly and said that the information is embargoed in litigation.

    I've noticed this thread which is quite old now, but I have a 250 Ferrari which I am trying to find out more about as it was sold by Chinetti originally and I wondered as time has moved on whether "Coco" Chinetti is able to be contacted. If anyone has any more information on how to get in touch with him I'd be delighted to hear.

    Luigi is a charming guy but organization is not his strong suit. It could well be that he doesn't know where the records are or whether they still exist.
