factory price was about $450k from memory...many of them sold a number of times before they even rolled out of the gate! peaking at just over $2m for mansell's, i'm told.

they were crazy days.

No. There are a few Oz delivered and fully tax paid F40's around. Gil Matthews has another example.

When they hit the appropriate age limit. The "other type" can't be registered no matter what age they are.
