OBD code: "clutch position sensor circuit low". Anyone know what this means?

It usually indicates exactly what's low...the voltage or resistance. Either way it's indicating that the signal being sent to the CPS isn't returning to the TCU with the correct value.

You may have a CPS failing. Has it been replaced recently (with a clutch job), have you tried clearing the fault and watching for it's return?

Car has 7000 miles and original clutch. The code reappears after reseting.

    Reid ---

    Any other symptoms?

Is the clutch operating correctly? Is the car shifting okay --- and staying in gear when it's supposed to?
