Cheers to that!! You should catch my lil' Cajun band at the Catholic Underground......I started a thread in Tri-State.. And the Texas Tornadoes playing for free downtown last Thursday was something, rightfully PACKED the hill....
Also for your post ring thoughts, have you considered variable turbine geometry turbochargers as an alternative to supercharging for both substantial power gains and quick engine response. Sorry, I meant to use the track dedicated Mazda Furai as my example above not the Taiki Concept. Thanks again.
At Ring we'll be running our own prepared Ferrari GT2 normally aspirated engine. After the race our street version will be normally aspirated as well.
Jim you are doing that and more. you have done something that any one here would donate a kidney for.. Kudos
I spent the weekend at the Ring... There was a 4h race saturday. Can't wait to see the P4/5 on it, and the Porsche/Ferrari ratio was way too high...actually I have seen 0 Ferrari during the race and 5 during the weekend
Would you like any help with team graphics and gear design? I would be more than happy to contribute some ideas if you'd like. I may sketch up some stuff regardless.
P4/5 J.Glickenhaus BMA43 is the only one that have license worldwide to make and produce the models of any scale from the P4/5 and P4/5 C

Jim, I am loving this project! I would sell my left arm to make it there next year! Sadly as a 16 y/o making $8 an hour I don't think its going to happen! If you need to a photographer out there, let me know!
Dude. Save your money, buy one of those very cheap air line tickets, and camp out with 250,000 wild and crazy fans. You only live once. Convince your local paper to pay you something to write an article and take some photo's.
Roll cage? Thanks for the pix. Am toying with similar ideas of cheap airline tickets and camping out. Is there an open paddock day for the event? As in, would love to meet you and see the car.
This is good advice. The fortunes that some of the people here have ammassed didn't just happen by chance. They made it happen. Get your passport together so you can be prepared to make a presentation. When I say be prepared I mean find air fare and accomodations and a total cost for the trip. Make an appointment with a paper and start a fundraising campaign. Get permission from some local stores to set up a table out side. Tell people why you want to go and ask for donations. I would imagine Jim could get you press credentials. He has created the fairy tale. You need to tell your community the story. Good luck
Yes there is total access to the pits before the Race and we'll be happy to give tours and meet FCHATTERS. You guys should know that the campers get a bit wild. I've seen a few topless babes dancing in the firelight...
