Well, since I'm my parents personal driver when I'm not overseas, I have to factor them into the equation. Plus my parents drive my cars when I'm overseas (which is most of the time) so no choice haha
Sorry, but I have zero pity on the guy. He has a family to care for. He decided to defraud millions of dollars and in the process lead a lavish lifestyle that he did not for a second deserve. And now he has destroyed his families future. What is even more astonishing is that he thought that for a second he could actually defraud that much money and not get caught. Stupid does not even begin to describe what I think of him. He deserve everything that is coming to him. Unfortunately his family were totally innocent bystanders. For them I am absolutely sorry- he clearly never even thought for a moment about the consequences, not for him, but for those that depend on him.
The worst bit is even if the wife and kids are doing ok... everyone will now question every aspect of their lifestyle.... where is their funding coming from? How could they have any money saved? Is the lifestyle they now lead still funded by embezzled funds? Until the day they are living in a one room HDB or out on the streets everyone will question every aspect of their lives, behind their backs. They won't be able to even spend a little on semi luxury goods without accusing fingers pointing at them thanks to their breadwinners actions. Just think... after the allegations of fraud... if you see one of the daughters in a nice car, or using a nice bag... you would surely have a slight doubt that the funds for those are not from legitimate gains but from the funds that the father embezzled.
Spend all of last night trying to find a friend's brother who was otw from Singapore to KL via NS. Vehicle was found in a ditch at 227 marker. 2 car accident. 2 fatalities and 3 injured in hospital. All belongings and passports missing. We only found him by calling all the police and PLUS highway last night. Not a good week.
Agree .... greed and consequences always come together. The wife also should suspect something is wrong out there when he brought her a lambo. She just don't want get into the picture and act indecent. Do you think the Wife really that indecent?
