You know what that afternoon I was discovering the first pictures of the Aperta and I was thinking of an aperta with The same color scheme as your OTO. Dark grey (Ferro or another) with light grey alcantara/leather... I think I almost creamed my pants.

Help me to finish that imaginary Aperta.

The pillars and windshield frame ... Silver ? In grigio like the body ? or maybe black. And the wheels ? In black it would be superb.I don't know if it's offered by ferrari...

    GTO without blinking.

I really like the SA, but the GTO...is the GTO.

Probably not the thread to have this discussed (good idea to start a new thread ;) ) but as a basis I would go for a darker colour on top. Lighter on top never worked for me. Work from there. The rest .. haven't really given it a lot of thought since I won't be owning one ;)

If the Aperta had a usable top, there might be a choice. But as it is the GTO is the only real car of the pair and the Aperta is a collectors' toy. Attractive, but useless even here in New Mexico where the sun shines most of the time. That is a problem here for a car without an all weather top. A good portion of the year, you would bake your brains out in the sun and a useful top and air conditioning are very handy things. You can wear a hat, but the baked part still applies, just no sunburn to go with it.

I am not grumping about our weather, mind you, it is great. You just need a car that matches it. Especially in the winter when it may be 14 F (-10 C), sunny, and dry as a bone. Great for driving but not good for topless driving.

Oh it doesn't need a thread... Just some random thoughts I had after discovering the Paris Pics...
It's always interesting to have the point of view of people who experienced the atelier.I think that bespoke trend will keep growing in the future. I really enjoy discovering audacious and never-seen before combos.(I watched your OTO interieur again... Today that was the alcantara-wrapped fire extinguisher(among many others) who catched my eyes.Really "Haute-couture" interieur.thumb up.

    GTO here too.

I have a feeling that nearly half of that SAs are sold to SA (as in Saudi Arabia) or some other rich middle east country, don't know why, maybe it looks kinda deformation/abomination of the 599 to me, as some guys over there like their cars like that (golden veyron, station 456 et all).

Open air better rule, because that is the only choice you have with a Barchetta (or an Aperta). We have two cars, the wife's GL 550 and my 575M. A GTO would work fine for me (I wish), but both our cars have to be real cars.

SA Aperta is a garage queen by definition, completely useless ,much like the Barchetta.
