The range rover evoque is my best looking car in the Paris auto show. Interesting concept cars from lotus. Did not like the lines of the lambo concept.

I think Harold is referring to an earlier incident by a lawyer, not the recent SLA case.

The diesel version has much higher torque which would be fun in city driving & quick overtakes. Probably takes a longer term to even out the savings vs petrol but I'm glad that govt finally allows diesel cars.

Think the supercharged version is just $90K more than the reg. 5.0. I saw some in action during the Mille Miglia as Jag was a sponsor & they sound really good.

Was reading the catalogue & the rear lights were supposed to be claws of a jaguar. Not a bad choice of words....

    Ooh pics please.

oh no mate.... that is a worst nightmare. I really feel for them. What happened??? If the valuables and passports were missing I am wondering if they were shoved off the road by some gang or something... who on earth would go there otherwise and take all their belongings after seeing them involved in an accident????

Valuables are 1st things bystanders & often, the rescuers take. No, I'm not accusing as this is a well known fact over there.

There was a landslide in KL area last year where some landed homes were decimated including lost lives. Survivors were digging with bare hands for loved ones & saw the rescuers lying on the beds in their broken houses consuming their wine with broken safes & lost valuables. The police chief promised an investigation which usually leads to nothing.

Few years ago, I was in my Testa with a group of Alfa owners going to Cameron (most are fast drivers doing 250+ flat out). My friend crashed into a ditch when an unsuspecting car swerved into his lane. Everyone survived but the car was a write-off. A tow truck appeared & insisted on taking them to his workshop but when he realised that he was not getting any business, he reversed the truck into another member's car behind, crashing the front & taking out the radiator then took off. The rest gave chase but lost him. The polis said these errant truckers ply the NS "for business".

Fong, my heartfelt condolences to your friends again.
