Not worth the cost, IMO. In fact, I am always distrustful of a place that makes you ask for a price. It proves they themselves know they are over priced. Heck, even Ferrari tells you what the car costs!

I know it's not the best, but I love Montecristo Churchill when working sidjobs. A smoke shop just opened up in my jurisdiction that I know will be the end of things. I used to go once in a while to the local club humidor places, but hated the drive. This one is now within 2 miles of my house...lol....hole in the wall shop with a 1000(roughly) cigar humidor. But, he'll order what I want for less than what I was paying at the other place.....Every Sunday at midnight, Churchill and I have a talk, lol.

Anybody bought cigars from this site? Any recommendations on Cuban cigar sources? The prices look about right

The Padron 1926 Anniversary is exceptional. They are having only one person roll the Perfecto. Pick them up while they are available.

Which is something I just dont understand. For that much, you could have a custom job put together locally. Hell, the 5000 cigar humidor that I watched get put in a shop in NC a few months ago did not cost $15k to build.

Damn, wish I had known that as I have a few in my box at the club in Charlotte.

Happiness is a Padron 1926 series and a tall glass of Patron after a week of two residential closings and a new commercial transaction for a client starting a new auto-related business.

Oh, and Jimmy Buffett is playing in town tonight. RIP to a few more cigars before the concert.

I've recently gotten into cigars. I found a nice cigar bar/lounge that I go to in Philly on the weekends and my girlfriend has been getting me random cigars here and there for special occasions.

It's definitely time for me to invest in a nice humidor though so I can keep some type of inventory for when need be. I prefer a nice mild cigar, usually an Ashton or AVO, but I'm always looking to try something new.

    Good choices.

I will tell you before you go and spend $500+ on a humidor, check into what a woodworker in your area cam build for you. ESP if you are looking for a desk top model that just uses the drop in humidity things, hand made is OFTEN cheaper (and cooler!) than what you will find in the store.

Usually I browse this website, and I have been looking into the humidors that they sell.

    http://www.cigar.com/index.asp

Everything I have been looking at is below 200$. I don't want to spend anymore than 200$ for one, and I'm only really looking for one that will hold around 50 cigars at most, although personally I don't even think I need that much room.

I've been looking into these two models...

I like your idea about building one, that is something I didn't think about and could probably do myself. Basically it would need to be constructed from spanish-cedar or mahogany, correct? Any idea how thick the wood should be?

Even at $50 an hour, you would save money with a local guy. If you do it yourself the exterior can be anything from wood to gold! The interior, as you say, should be cedar and I recommend at least 1/4 inch. That is what most of mine are and they do great!

My fav is actually an old antique silver chest I got at a old crap place for $10 and had converted (lined) in cedar with a tray for $100!! It holds 300.

    Looks nice whupwhup :)

That's a little big for what I need, but I have been looking at some smaller desktop humidors with a glass top. I'll browse that link you posted and see if anything catches my eye vs the other sites I have been on.
