I was interested in the accutron since I am an avid watch collector. Most everything I own is an automatic or manual wind. I dont collect quartz. I have a hamilton ventura which was the first "electric" watch. The accutron "tuning fork" took the next step and used a transistor, so it is the first electronic watch.
