Got home from a week out of town and the 360 was dead. Hooked up a battery charger and it read 0%/0 volts. I let it charge overnight and it charged to 100%. When I went to start it, it was very hard to start. Finally started and runs very poorly. Check engine and air bag lights are on as well. Let it sit over night and tried again. Same thing... When trying to rev it just bogs, and will not rev.

Assuming there is some sort of computer or ECU issue. Is there a way to reset or do I have to tow to dealer to fix?

    Thanks for the help,

    Dave

If you want to reset it, there is a switch in the front bonnet(Check manual if you can't find it). You can turn it off for 10 minutes and it will reset.

Yep, only running on 1 bank. I just did the same thing because I stupidly left the key turned on (had switched it on to put the top up). I had too much to do headed out for vacation so didn't fix it yet. Got back on Sunday so I will try to reset everything in the next coupld of days and let you know how it goes. If you resolve it let me know how.

turn it off for a few minutes
    turn it back on
start car and let idle only for 15 mins or so

Did you put a new battery in or just did the reset. Did you give it enough time to reset? I recommend getting a new battery if it's old.

The battery is only 4 months old. I thought I was going to have to replace, but it is holding charge at 100% (according to charger I have). I had the off switch off for 15 minutes twice at lunch. I left it off and will try again tonight...

I'll also take it out for a little spin and see if that helps any. I'm sure a stop at Hooters might help.

In the good to check department...

Under the car have someone remove the rear access panel, look at the main battery cable that runs to the alternator... that termination at the end of that cable where it connects to the alternator is a known problem... it WILL cause the symptoms you are describing...if there is a fault there, you will see obvious heat damage on the termination..

Any garage can get her on a lift & remove that rear panel.. will take less than 30 minutes to remove/check/reinstall... however if thats the problem you will save yourself more potential issues from gremlins...

I had the exact same problem on a BMW I used to own. In the end it turned out the every time I jump started it, I blew the airbag relay (read: fuse). Apparently it was very sensitive to voltage spikes. It was an inexpensive repair. You might try testing/replacing the relay to see if it fixes the problem.

Well, Hooters helped, but the airbag light is still on. I will check the fuse tonight and see if that does the trick. That would sure be a nice easy fix...

    Thanks!

A quick update. I took the time to power off and rest the system. That worked and all is well.

NOTE to self: remember to unplug the tender when doing a power off reset. If you don't, it looks like a bad battery AND you don't get a reset. Oh well, all is good now that I understand what stupid thing I did this time.

I had a similar problem after a LONG (6+months) period of storage. Had to replace the battery. Only problem is, after getting everything going and doing a reset again, the alarm siren won't shut off. Tried the red fob, black fob, key in ignition, still no go, the siren does not want to turn off.

Only (temporary) relief has been to disconnect the alarm siren module.

    IF he is lucky.

Voltage spikes kill them. Trying to start with a low battery causes a voltage spike.
