    Thanks very much for posting!

Air conditioning? Wow, I wonder if Grand-Am will still make USA cars run with no driver window?

Did you notice the tire sizes?

    How was the transmission?

Can you compare the car to a 430C?

    Thanks

    Mark

Maybe I'm alone here, but I haven't liked the liveries they reveal challenge cars in lately. The 599 GTO paint job made it look like a Dale Earnhardt Jr. stock car, and this looks like something a kid whipped up in Gran Turismo.

I love the car, and I think it will look excellent on track. I can't wait to see Risi campaign one, but I wish they would be revealed in a classic Ferrari Livery, or just without a racing paint job (that's how companies always unveil prototype racers).

Very nice pictures, thanks for sharing, but the cost of racing it in Asian Challenge series is prohibitively expensive. I was quoted 54 million Japanese Yen by Japan dealer for car plus entry and transport with consumables such as tires NOT included. This works out to be US$655K per season plus consumables and possible crash damage cost. Hong Kong dealer quoted something similar.

For that kind of money it's not very good value for the kind of racing you get IMHO. GT3, GT2, or even LMS comes to mind. Has anybody else been quoted costs for Europe or North America Challenge series?

i rode in a normal 458 with the man that set that 1.57.5 time around mugello in a 430c...and he said that he was very close to that time in this street version....so these times are completely believable.

Not surprised about the AC...in some series AC is being mandated. Very dangerous the temperatures some race car cockpits get up to. In reality it probably does not hold back this masterpiece motor much :)

Very true. In Asia during summer cockpit temperature goes up to 130 to 140 F. You'll fry your brain trying to race without some sort of cooling.
