Hey guys I will be headed out to Infineon on Sunday to see Wes race. Wes is campaigning Michael Waltrip's old stock car in the Historic Stock Car Racing Series to benefit United Cerebral Palsy of the North Bay. He also has a race on Saturday but I will not be able to make that. He has practice runs on Sunday at 9:50 and 1:20 pm. His race is at 4:30 pm. If anyone is interested come on out.

It's still on from my point of view. I can vouch for Chrigel, as well. See you folks bright and early.

    ...Still on

we will be leaving at 0630 sharp.

    Suggest:
    1. a full fuel load,
    2. medium soft compound,
    3. 12 mm of pre-load at all 4 corners

    See you there

    ...good news.

I want all the details of what was done.

As for the drive, I hope I am not permanently having the same view as the last picture in your post...:)

Wow they have the Arai GP6 In Carbon! That is tempting.

Although, Stand21 has the lightest helmets by a meaningful margin.
As I am sure many of you know, after a trackday, neck fatigue can be a real issue.
Even a few grams lighter can mean all the difference.

If any foggers need stand 21 gear, I might be able to pull some strings and get a little discount through my old contact there.

Vraiment, care for some fireproof underwear? You would benefit from it even at home, given the fiery nature of your home's outdoor seating.

Wow, thanks Kourosh. I think I want to pick up one for myself though. I still have my old motorcycle helmet but I hit the track enough that I think I really need to get my own gear. Gloves, shoes, coveralls, helmet the whole nine yards. If someone could tell me a good shop I'd appreciate it. Sorry I'd say more but right now all I want to do is throttle Pablo Sandoval.

+1 They also have driving suits, gloves, nomex stuff, etc. For helmets especially, you need a place like this that has a large selection of sizes and types for the best fit.

Given the way the flames sometimes travel at the fire pit, the underwear and the helmet might be prudent!
