My favorite Neiman Marcus edition remains the DeLorean.

+1, it lost all its baby fat. :D

I'm not a fan of the new Camaros in general, but in the right color combo, I think the convertible looks great.

5 bucks says that car looks awful with its top up... and likely impossible to see out of the back window.

Also, the nieman editions are always wickedly over priced but are very very cool.

I don't mind that Purple color at all...I like the ghost stripes...great wheels...the interior looks posh
It is on show this weekend in Dallas/Ft Worth Neiman-Marcus downtown location

I bet you are right about that...haven't seen any coverage of it with top up...they rave about the top on the video that's about it

This is way more sexy than the California or the open 599. Way more sexy and vulgar in a GOOD way :D

A pity this would pass 1 million over here.

I have had some experience with the NM editions in the past and they truly are unique and special cars. The attention to detail really is incredible. I can't believe some of the things the manufacturers provided just to make a limited amount for there little holiday book. They are very impressive cars when you see them in the flesh.

Why would NM do a special edition of this car? Usually they stick to cars that are more high end... and $75k for a Camaro? What are they smoking?

most of the time the prices have been a little on the high side... but personally... for 75k... if you were the guy who wanted to lock up a camaro for 30 years... this is the one to do it with. special edition... first convertible. exclusive colors etc... pretty sweet car.

yes 75k for a camaro is excessive... but at least they did somethings to justify it.

I was negative against the camaro after seeing them in photos and on the street. The size is a real turn off...until I had a chance to drive one.

It was a little difficult to get used to (Mainly visibility and height was odd), but I'd be lying if I said I didn't think it was a hoot to drive around for a week. They did a lot of things right and it definitely turns heads and gets a lot of thumbs up, conversations at gas stations, and zero negativity.

It's not the best handling, fastest, etc out there - but a fun car for the money. I was surprised at how little trunk space it had considering it's size. Manual buttons on the steering wheel gave it a little more character and made it a lot more fun. Engine sounds mean and deep. I'd find myself stepping on the gas in neutral just to hear it's great sound.

And this was in the V6. I'd never buy a Camaro, more of an iconic weekend toy, but I'd love to drive around an SS for a weekend. I'm sure it would be a lot of fun.

Convertible Challengers have been driving around LA all summer. I imagine they will be available soon.

I finally saw one a week or so ago. I assume it's a pre-production car and not a chop. anyway, it looked good; the Challenger and Camaro (along with many other modern cars) has too high a beltline and too low a roof/too small a greenhouse. the convertible solves that problem, but only when the top is down.

There is a LA based company that does conversions. As far as I know, no production plans.
