Been saying this for a long time now. Robbed by the accountants in 2008 of a WDC. He needs a capable car/team
No escaping the stats ..the guy is very good. I can't see Alonso wanting him as a team mate, even if they are good poker buddys.
I agree for the most part here. He is one solid driver, but it could be he is just really pleased with his car......
I wonder what their criteria are: Putting Vettel ahead of Alonso is hard to understand unless you solely measure raw speed. I agree that Vettel is the fastest and eventually the biggest prodigy there is, but right now he is not as complete as Alonso. He is making way too many mistakes for that. Also I'm not sure the incredible Hulk deserves that rating. And I noticed that Senna doesn't even appear (fully agreed on that one).
He is fast and extremely level headed. If Ferrari could pick him up to replace Massa, they would have the best possible line up. I would have sacked Vettel after Monza if I had any say in it (for suggesting the team was influencing his car in order to lend Webber a hand). Probably sooner because I find it a horrible little kid.
I remember when Lewis Hamilton came to F1. He warned in an interview that Kubica would be one to watch because he is a great driver. Hes got alot of respect for his old racing/sparing buddy.
here's how it's done. I'm lazy. read it and let me know http://cdn.images.autosport.com/digitalmag/castrolrankings/
I've been expecting Kubica to come good for a while now. The best testimonial is how highly he is regarded by his peers. To a man they all rank him as the driver they most fear.
I would have if they had written an article, but they had to be cute and make a presentation with animated graphics out of it. Screw that.
I'd like to see Kubica drive for other teams rather than Ferrari if Alonso's still aboard. There's no point having 2 strong drivers on the same team. Plus, it also encourages drivers from different teams to challenge for wins and the WDC. If Kubic is staying at Renault next year, i sincerely hope they provide him with one helluva car...
