i live betwen switzerland and a little town at about 20 km from savigliano, nice chance to see your supercar
Cool video. But... is that a Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale with snow and a goat on it? Some guys in the 360 section would have a heart attack! All the best, Andrew. Image Unavailable, Please Login
at least the snow somewhat protected the car from the goat, unlike here http://www.farrellfarm.com/?p=428 the lift coming out from the ceiling in the garage is too cool. its like something batman would have!!!!
LOL good one Jim! Following this project closely now that I found your website detailing the project. Best, Gregg ps, Almost forgot to ask about the engine and hopefully you will forgive my ignorance but is the class you'll be running in only allow a max cylinder count of 8? I was expecting a V12 but I'm not disappointed at all. Projected hp output??
A V12 would produce more power, but is not as economical. In a long endurance race, being able to stay out on track for longer without pitting will give the V8 an advantage. All the best, Andrew.
OK. I don't think so... I seem to recall Jim saying the decision was based on wanting the economy of the V8 rather than any sort of technical regulation for the class the P4/5C was running in. I think the answer was posted in this thread somewhere: General Forums > Ferrari Discussion (not model specific) > "Scuderia Glickenhaus P4/5 Competizione" I guess the one disadvantage of the sheer size of these threads is that it can sometimes take a little time to locate a specific comment on a bit of information that like. Edit: OK, I found the relevant bit... Tada! All the best, Andrew.
Just thought I'd check in and say it's nice to see owners who use their cars. Saw P4/5 earlier today on Rt 22 South up in Bedford, NY (around 1:30 in the afternoon). Jim was driving of course. Again, quite nice to see rare cars being used (as it should be).
