    Hello All,
Just as the title says... Looking to spec my 458 with a charcoal colored interior but can't seem to find many pics. What I have thought was charcoal in pics turned out to be black.. As for why the charcoal? Saw a 430 at the dealer last year with charcoal interior and have loved the color ever since.
Also wondering if doing the upper zone in charcoal would be overkill or should I keep the pillars, roof liner in black? Dealer thinks it may look too busy.. I've seen plenty of F cars with std black as well as colored upper zones but would like to see it in charcoal.... Thanks..

    Tony................

    PS.. Grigio Titanium exterior.

We just returned from Maranello and ordered a red over charcoal (leather) 458 with red stitching. The entire interior is charcoal including charcoal Alcantara carpets and headliner. We did the 'Atelier" program at the factory so that we could see first hand how things would look (highly recommended).

It is not 'too busy' as the whole thing is the same color. It is understated and elegant. We did have to get all carbon fiber for the trim as the stock metal looked brownish next to the charcoal leather.

When we get the car, I will post pictures.

    Regards,

    Russ

I have had a couple of charcoal interiors and I like the color a lot. It is very rich looking. Works well with black dash and carpets and CF trim. I will see if I can dig up some pix.

    Nice one! :p

OP: Have you tried searching through the Ferrari Configurator? I can't remember off the top of my head, but I THINK they have a charcoal/grey interior color option. Maybe give that a shot...

Hey I know that car!!! :) It's not charcoal though, it's lighter. The configurator online DOES have charcoal as an option.

Tony- Charcoal usually photographs looking slightly silver, even though it is very dark gray in real life. My 575M has a charcoal with red stitching interior, but it is so far from the 458 interior, I am not sure it does you much good, but here it is, at any rate. One photo before the Superamerica instrument panel was installed. Dash and steering wheel are charcoal as well.

Someone, M-Individual?, had a charcoal interior in one of his 599s. You might search the 612/599 forum and see if anything pops up that interests you.

I did the configurator and the colors seem off.. The Titanium exterior seems too cartoonish. The pics above looks great and I can see the scud has a black dash. I like the all charcoal including the upper zone and steering wheel.. Thanks for the pics as I, like most men tend to be more visual....
    Thanks...........
