Total worldwide production of Challenge Stradale??

North American numbers have been reported 353 to 360.
Best guess is, 10% have the stripe.

 

VV impt I asked my Ferrari dealer what I have to pay for an ENZO as we were stood in front of one of his cust cars and in seems 900K USD is the floor at least in Switz and rising

 

i believe the final number is 1184- my vin number is 139836 it was produced november 2004

 

I recently asked this at Harris Imports in SLC and they had a referrence mag...perhaps Cavalino that put the total number much lower? ....347?

Anyone know for sure?

 

The best compilation I've seen is floating around here on Fchat (search for CS VIN) and showed 359 cars and listed each US VIN. I doubt anyone knows for sure.

 

Cavallino is certainly incorrect. The best number I have is 1274 although Peterb's 1184 could equally well be correct.

I posted that list. I keep meaning to post an update, but never enough time... I have something on a little over 700 Stradales so you can definitely discount any totals less than 700. Normally, US sales represent around 30%, UK around 10% of total, so you can extrapolate from 359 US cars and 119 UK cars to something around the two figures above.

Total production is still debated, but consensus opinion is around 1200 world wide. The quote I have from Ferrari North America is, "As regards your request, we would like to inform you that 353 Challenge Stradale US Version were produced." They did not answer my question regarding world wide production. The Cavallino number does not appear to represent either US or world wide totals. Ferrari sees some benefit in keeping actual production numbers a mystery....even from the dealers.

 

how many are left? i don't think they are all around. how many do you think are in good condition.

 

Does anyone have the list of total US CS VINs? I have quite a few that I collect and I would like to compare them.

How many CS's were produced worldwide? I have read conflicting numbers from various sources.

The search tool is you friend (search "Stradale production numbers") as this topic surfaces a few times a year. The generally accepted numbers are:

North America = 378
World Wide approximately 1200 with unsubstantiated estimates as high as 1274

No interest in debating this again....we've covered the topic repeatedly over five years. You asked a question and I attempted to distill the useful historical information (VINs counted, e-mail from Ferrari North America, etc.) into a helpful answer.
