Anyone know a good place to get one of these?

I am looking for info on how many HP this adds to the car.

I have a 1995 F355 2.7 with stock air boxes on at the moment.

I plan to add the Fabspeed Headers, Cats, and secondary cat delete pipes next spring as well. I'll do in conjunction with the 30K service I need to do.

    Thanks!

Coincidentally I'm also in research mode on the GruppeM intake for my '95 2.7 to complement my Fabspeed headers, test pipe, etc. Via internet searches I'm finding sources with various prices in the $3-4k range, obviously a function of the exchange rate.

I came across another less expensive option by BMC called the Carbon Dynamic Airbox (CDA) in this FChat thread from 2005:

Not as elegant as the GruppeM but possibly as effective. Maybe someone here has recent experience with this?

Is there anything like this for a 348 intake system that adds some performance and looks a little better than stock intake hoses?

I found the Gruppe M air box on the web for about $3700.

Thanks for the info. What's the difference between the wet and dry carbon in terms of performance?

This is exactly what I want to do. How did the car feel after the Fabspeded headers and pipes were installed?

I am thinking of doing this all as part of my 30 K service next spring.

I've used the CDA boxes in several applications. They work very, very well.

There is definitely a marked improvement using the GruppeM cf intake plenums on the 2.7(and 5.2 also).

I've got a dyno run which shows both hp and torque comparison up against a 355CH configuration.

I have never seen a CDA dyno sheet.....looking at the CDA design there is no comparison to the GruppeM system.

As for 4 into 1 headers I'll run you any day title for title using my 4 into 2 into 1 design.

The only 4 into 1 headers I've ever seen that are tuned properly for the 355 are these...note the increased length of the primary tubes. On a 2.7 with the ecms tuned and a tuned intake it just screams like a scalded dog.

I would love to hear the sound of the engine screeming with this set up

One of our sponsors has done testing on this complete set-up. Maybe they can post a video link on the 355spider they did.

Bruce, can you share the dyno results for the GruppeM with us? Also, I'm not familiar with the 4-2-1 headers you're referring to and would to get more info as there are only photos on the Competiozone site.

The dyno results are customer owned and are not for public reprint. Sorry, but I can understand as he paid alot for this information.

The 4-2-1? ...here is what I have which is close but not exact to the factory design.
