Ha! Ok, I know that not everyone is a car enthusiast. But how do you mistaken a Testarossa and a 308?

That scene where Crockett sees the Testarossa for the first time - I've always wondered if the part where he first started it up was overdubbed. I've never heard a Testarossa sound like that before.

I think the Miami Vice cars were both 86's. Also, he said 340 HP and the writers probably quoted a Boxer HP.

 

I loved Miami Vice... For me it was the Ferrari and the Scarab that did it for me. Later it was the sailboat & the clothes by Versace and Armani.

Ended up living on a sailboat like Crocket only at the end of the shoot, he actually went to his real house... Uh, living on a 54' isn't as glamorous as they make it out to be. Lasted a month anyways!

Does anyone remember Danny Sullivan on one of the episodes. I remember a scene where he raced sport bikes in a parking garage. Ive looked for the episode but havent found it.

 

That episode is "Florence Italy".
A very good one with the boys also chasing a Porsche 906.

Oooooh....that's one of my favorite episodes. It features just Indy 500 winner Danny Sullivan. The scene opens up with a chase with our Vice Hero's and a Porsche race car. It's all fun and games until a dead prostitute is thrown from the race car and speeds away. Danny is the main suspect.

The best part of the episode is at the end. This is when the chase scene comes to a close with Crockett and Tubbs cornering the real murderer in his race car. Blocked by cops and no exit, he heads straight for a wall winding up through the gears. He hits the wall and from the inside, the windshield glass breaks and the frame freezes...only with the sound of breaking glass.....oooh....I'm getting goose pimples just writing this...one of my most freaky moment scenes......

I still remember the scene with the promoter talking on two cordless cell phones at the same time.... Remember, the latest thing was a corded car phone...this was cordless!!

Anyone see this yet? ... The new Nike commercial with LeBron James has a short segment with Don Johnson actually playing Sonny Crockett, and he is as perfect as ever. Hopefully we see a comeback for the show.

WOW! How nostalgic watching Don Johnson reprising his role. We want a special reunion with all the cast of Miami Vice.
