    Wow, 11K?!

It's nice and all, but I wouldn't pay 11k. Well, it is the original. How much for a print :D:eek:

As an aviation artist I see an assembly of photo work with some little airplanes painted in. I hope that you don't pay 11K for it.

William- Who is the artist? Only a few can aspire to those kinds of prices. Especially for a fictional scenario. I have some Jim Dietz paintings in that category, but none are for sale.

Thanks. Those images that I showed were done 40 years ago when I was teaching myself to paint. I'm into maritime stuff now and won first prize in the marine art show in The Ventura County Maritime Museum " International Waters Exhibit". I was competing against artists from all over the world who submitted over 200 works but I didn't get any 11,000 dollars for my award. I got an 81/2 X 11 piece of paper that said " First Prize". I might add that every square inch of canvas is first drawn by hand and painted by hand.

I dunno... it looks computer generated to me. I don't mean that it is, but it has that sort of "look" to it.

Beautiful! I really wish I could do something artistic like that, but I fail at drawing stick figures!

Common Steve, the Mushtang is just another airplane. That is a great picture of that gang on the attack!

The pilot really does deserves that medal for (1) not opening fire until the Me109 cleared, so that shooting it down would not destroy the Eiffel Tower; and (2) not crashing into it himself to the same effect!

Cool. I don't think I've ever seen P-51s dressed in Thunderbirds colors. Much more to look at than the Blue Angels of that era, who flew F6F Hellcats, I think.
