insurance for a 22 year old on an aston must be astronomical ! what does it cost? i still feel here in singapore the premiums are really crazy, esp the deductibles
I don't know how much the insurance it for the Rapid, actually I'm afraid to find out! I'll post it when I find out Thursday or Friday. Hey, is that your black matted Testarossa? I really like the way it looks! Cool N Menacing with all the bodywork!!! Where did you get the idea for that? Brave, turned out great! If I were going to get a 4 door sporty sedan the Quattroporte would be it and a ZF Auto because it's trouble free. But with my Cambiocorsa Coupe in the twisties with the F1 trans is so much fun, like a go kart, but I hate that cost and trouble of the clutch replacement! Kevlar clutch are being tried out by several indi shops.
Let me drive your CS and you onzzzz All u can eat (this applies to Boon Tong Kee only, damn lawyers must be specific with them )
I am sure but I won't miss you too much when I am in Shanghai. Have a good time in KL mate! Show the rest that SMF members are good at drink driving!
This will be quite a showdown, on Topgear Stig clocked a faster time on the 458 than on the LP-570-4.
That is strange, I have friends who managed to get some rooms from HJ Plaza just last week for this weekend. Anyway if you postpone to following week, CKA will be there. I will just miss you guys!
wow .. there was just a huge accident outside my house!! A truck coming down the road failed to take the bend and went straight into a tree, ripping off the entire back section (and half the cabin). Thank goodness there were only the 3 passengers in the cabin (injured but I don't think too seriously), but most importantly it wasn't carrying any of the "46 pax" it was allowed too otherwise it would have looked like WWII. Diesel, glass and smashed plastic everywhere. I don't think I've ever jumped out of bed so quickly before. Anyway I hope everyone makes a speedy recovery, and let's drive carefully (especially going past my house) please!
ya matt black tr was a bit of a risk cos i cldnt find any pics of one previously done, but had to give it a go. the side strakes were removed by the matt sticker guys n they *****ed about how difficult they would be to do so i decided to try doing without n i quite like the result.the 19 ' wheels were a direct bolt on used set from a tr bought from a us fchatter here- so all in all not too much cost involved. tried another spirited run on the qp on slightly winding roads - quite responsive surprisingly in sport manual mode (the tubi even cracles alittle on downshifts)but i think the dbw shld help more and maybe some sportier sway bars perhaps- a bit too much body roll
thanks bro.i guess 1 of the privileges of being able to afford only out-of-warranty cars is that one can tinker around with abandon!
Aiyoh, your collection of "out of warranty" cars can buy a few very nice "new" cars. On the subject of warranty, I understand in USA and EU,manufacturers cannot just void warranty if an owner install an after market parts. I heard if the after market part is built to similar or better quality, manufacturers cannot void the warrant. Why are we getting the short end in spore?
by n large , singapore owners are not prepared to get into arguments with the local agents , maybe because there are hardly any reliable alternative independent repair/service providers. either that or they got ayam lawyers !
can't believe this car has only clocked 4300km... and good colour too http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=130524&DL=1231 damn good deal imo. sigh....
Tim,the guy who wrap your TR is he the same guy who wrap Ling's GTR? Thinking of wrapping the top of my 458
i'm gonna have to ask synergyx to help here. im hopeless with posting pix and to make matters worse , i cant take photos for nuts!
not sure which has worse depreciation, but to find an extremely low mileage car is hard to come by. can understand why it's a buyer's market for 430, but why is it so for the gallardo? i sensed it as well but don't really know why since the replacement for the G is not here yet. i guess the G-owners are moving on to 458s...
have always wondered how much it cost to wrap an entire car... i know.. if i have to ask, i probably can't afford it. but still, how much really?
