If I were in a strong enough position, I would ... however, at this time, I am fully enjoying my CLK Black Series :)

The Grigio Titanium Stradale was on ebay some time ago for 136k but found no fans. Then it went to the dealer for 149k with the expected result.
No stripe and a less popular color doesn't help it find a new home. Color is very important in Stradale sales, buyers are very particular about what they will settle for...

Can you post up a pic of the Giallo with Black leather ... that's also one of my favorites.

There's something about leather in a CS ... preferably w/o the deviated stitching. (exception ... Black on Black leather w/ deviated stitching ... sick!)

I actually really like that color on the CS. Bit plain but no doubt unique. Surprised it didn't sell at $136k while at AutoSport.

By comparison; nothing plain about the early red CS used for the Cavallino magazine photo spread. Can you say if that 4,200 mile CS has gone down the road, to a new home yet?

Striped cars in demand! Of the 4 CS's that have sold in the past couple of weeks, all 4 have the OEM factory applied stripe. And 3 of the 4 new owners are Fchatters. Now let's see those 'delivery' pics gentlemen!

Wow they really are in demand! Stokpro how many oem striped CSs do you have in your data base? I had heard it's less than 100 in US.

I agree that is a gorgeous CS. Too bad it is over priced and no stock wheels

The big problem for that car for me was all the aftermarket stuff (wheels, radio, stripe, paint)... even the interior is not original (but great looking). When I researched the service history on the car..... there was pretty much none.

I could have lived w/most of that... at a different price point.

I don't mean to put either of you on the spot.... but given that each of you was intersted/curious in this car and have the same (sort of) response, what do each of you think is the correct price on this car?

You guys are so lucky in the US to have so many fantastic cars to choose from and worry about USD5k one way or the other and a few options that only matter to people who were toilet trained at 3 months. In Hong Kong the supply is dismal. All the solid cars are with collectors and rarely trade

    My 2 cents>
For someone shopping for an original car it is a no sale. Mileage was 20k plus? For someone that likes modified cars maybe 110k. The original wheels are expensive and fragile (they don't handle pot holes well!) so there is money lost there if the original wheels don't come with the car. Also it's a blue car and other colors sell better....

Kind of like the Canadian market where perhaps 25 Stradales arrived new in 2004. Those sold at a 60k premium compared to new American Stradales. Now the official Ferrari dealer turns up his nose when a Canadian shows up with an American market Ferrari...
