    I did a one year stint up by the DMZ and would have died to see a race.
    Any race.
    Taxi cabs even.

    As I suspected this race was NOT sold out: they did the same thing as China and Turkey: closed entire stands to put everybody in the same stands making those look full

    Looked like about halfway full

    at the beginning of the broadcast they said there were 90,000 there. the stands looked full at that time.....

    I heard that statement but I don't believe it

    The aerial shots showed entire grandstands empty in one area

    It was probably sold out after they removed all those tickets

    well when they first came on there were alot of people there. I was very cycnical about the race; but it looks like a success all the way around....

    That's true for the stands open but there were entire sections closed

    They did the same trick in Turkey and China
