How abt Derek, did u fit CCB onto your 430? How abt toto? He does track the Superleg pretty often, would like to hear on his experience with Lambo CCB. I only had one exp with my 997T & it was fantastic cold or hot. Remember reading somewhere that the GenII discs are supposed to last 100K miles or more but they didn't say abt the pads which is likely on how we use it. Harold, how does your set up on the RS do. Does fading set in & after how many laps?
9 laps straight with zero fade mate. simple steel discs with Pagid yellows. Using Castrol SRF brake fluid and stainless braided hoses. Nothing else. Having said that the brakes and their feel are still inferior to the set up on my Evo which is running AP Racing discs and rotors with Endless japanese pads. Seriously, if only AP made a set up for my RS I would seriously consider changing them out. They are the best brakes ever in my opinion.
Now u got me thinking, no bras too & cold water on tits Yes, esp those @ Fullerton & Hill street area. How can you not pass by without making a huge detour towards west? If only they'll reduce road tax by 30-100% as well My car dealer told me to use any figures on car bodies x 2.27 & it's the sum to register on the road plus the current COE. Dealers usually mark up another S$50-100K for continentals. You can pay for the body in cash then inform your finance co. etc & once the car is here, they'll takeover to do a full finance. U can do your own docs or some runners will do it for a fee. The new E class cabriolet is very sleek, me like but I still can't get over the Hyundai tail lamps. There's a few companies that does warranty packages, just send the car over for their multi points evaluation & they'll bill u few Ks as they buy insurance on it, problem is how fast can they get it done when there's an issue. My Bentley is under warranty but has a failed boot pump & they are taking forever to fix it while I can have the part on my table in less than a week via local part supplier & fixed in a few hours!
Sounds good mate. Harold, they should have it. There's this accessories company in Ubi that sells AP racing discs+calipers with mountings custom made by Jap firm & you can tailor your pads. They quoted S$4K+ for 6 pots on my old M5 which I can also fit into the Estima with a new mounting. Only thing is to clear the rims. So basically, the Ap kit is transferrable to anything as long as someone turns out the mounting.

Very nice. Engines by MTU is superb. They offer very good propulsion and power. Maintenance is a ***** though. Watch out when treading shallow water. Strainer tends to choke on this kind of propulsion systems.
Actually not too difficult. But if you don't want the hassle, you can get guys from supercars to bring in for a fee I think. Was looking to bring in a merc suv and contacted quite a few dealers in uk, but they refused to order one to sg's specs citing some bs about protecting the sg dealer. So if you are thinking of getting one from the dealer there, may have a problem. However, I still think you can bring in a uk spec car less vat if you have the contacts. As for me, I decided to go with the landy disco 4 with a target delivery for jan/feb once built. Got an forwarding agent to bring it in. If you need more info you can pm me, will be more than happy to share whatever limited knowledge I know.
yup ... these V16's are very good, strong engines ... especially when coupled to arnerson surface drives ... u CAN trim them up to reduce the churn but there's no getting away from debris in shallow waters ...
