She told me that the car is on tour, she's been driving it from California to New York doing unveilings & there is only one other one on tour & its in Dallas. Were you at the unveiling Monday or Tuesday?? She mentioned you & thought you might be interested in purchasing one from the way she said you made inquiries. I told her that even though I don't know you personally that I could contact you on F-Chat.

I occasionally park at a Publix in the 328. Maybe not as exclusive as a 550 Barchetta, but it probably opens some eyes. Don't know of anyone dropping their bags, yet.

550 or 575? Cant tell. Only thing that I can think of from that angle to differentiate are the wheels.

Since they did not make a 575 Barchetta, it has to be a 575 SuperAmerica. The larger 19" wheels and glass "flip-over" roof are the tell tale signs.

Two interesting cars I saw last weekend. First was a silver Mercedes SLR McLaren eastbound on I-285 near Riverside (as I was enroute to Italian Car Day).

And on Sunday, while enroute home from Peachtree City, a Nash Metropolitan (!).

Unfortunately I wasn't in position to take photos of either one of them.

Hi Chris, There is no doubt that this gentleman loves his cars, from vintage to modern. I've spotted so many of his priceless car collection on the road. I'm anticipating more great spots from him. It's kind of exciting to see what he'll bring out next.

I spotted a new BMW X3 yesterday around Lindbergh at lunch time. I usually wouldn't consider an X3 to be an interesting spot but it had the manufacturer plates on it and the release date is a month or two away.

Was in Dawsonville for the annual Moonshine days and happened across a black Ford GT with no stripes and black wheels. Didn't get a photo but it sounded nice and A LOT louder than usual.

The SLR reminds me of the Jalopnik regular feature "This is why people think <insert car name here> drivers are asshats"
