Ferrari Tattoo...

Been a huge fan of Ferrari since I was a teenager... Almost got a Ferrari tattoo several years back, but didn't. Have been contemplating it off and on every since. This weekend, I finally did it. I got the SF shielf on my right fore-arm. A little sore yet, and will probably need a little touch-up in a couple of weeks, but I'm very happy with it.

The tattoo looks nice... but why did you get a tattoo that represents the copyrighted logo of a marketing/car company?

The tattoo looks great, nothing is misspelled, it isn't some woman's name you will have to tattoo over later with a unicorn fighting a giant serpent. I would say 100% tattooing success!

Unless Ferrari is paying me 7 figures/year, I am not defacing my body...... and I have been into Ferrari since I was 10. But to each his own.

The way Ferrari is these days, they may want your arm for copyright infringement!

 

Some harsh opinions in here... what was it someone said in the other thread...

Very well done, my man. Got the script just right on the letters, the cavallino is tight. You're expressing a passion that clearly means a lot to you, and it will be a conversation starter on a subject you evidently love for years to come.

Congrats on fulfilling that dream, and pay no mind to the starched upper lip folk saying otherwise. Some staunchly old-school opinions :cough: comes with the territory here for obvious reasons...

It came out quite well. Nothing wrong with being a fan without the car (yet). If there was there would be no Ferrari merch stores. I'm not much one for pain, and that is a lot of shading, ouch. You are tougher than I am.

 

The Shield represents the race team. It's no different that any other sport logo.

You've got balls my friend. I always though about getting the same one on my bicep, but I don't have the cajones, or bicep for it.

Huge Ferrari fan myself. If I were to do it, I would have gone smaller and in a location that would be covered by a t-shirt.

 

We have another member here who has a huge prancing horse on his back. It's got major detail and looks really amazing. Hopefully he'll post a picture.
