Been on fchat for 3-4 years now and have never really looked in the architecture forum...

I have a small company that manufactures high-end windows and doors specializing in historical reproductions.

Not trying to promote my company here I just thought you might like to take a look at some of my stuff... www.woodenwindow.ca

    Thanks for the nice words...

For most of my adult life I was a programmer. Woodworkinq and historical architecture were just a hobby/passion thing that I picked up on my own. Eventually I turned it into a business. I get about 70% of my business from the Internet and now ship pieces all over Canada and north eastern US (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire).

Restoration glass is either real antique glass or new glass made to look old (bubbles, distortion, etc.

Given the period and styles that you illustrate you can occasionally find copies of the sash and door books from M.A. Disbrow, Long Bell Woodwork and others on Ebay. These were printed in the early 1900's and are considered standard reference for millwork restoration today.

Very nice work. Many years ago i worked for Hauser Art Glass out of Winona,Mn. I only worked in the trade 2 years, mainly on Church projects, replacing stained glass and the lead cames, the boss told me i was doing my apprenticeship to become ecclesiastical artist. It looks like you have graduated,as your work is fantastic!

Those pieces are amazing. Its a sin that anyone would ever paint over them!
