Excellent info! Thanks for that. I knew I had heard about the original DB7 using the XJS platform somewhere. It's all clear now. I have been trying my hand more at night photography recently and while it'***** and miss to say the least here are a couple from the weekend. Click on pics for more. Nothing special really, more your Hong Kong back street stuff, but might be worth a look. 928 S4 - Beautifully turned out and rare in red. 997.2 GT3 RS - At last! The first one I have seen. Question: How come these new ones seem to be all officially registered when most of the prev gen run around on T-plates?! C63 in satin white. Pretty special looking. There are so many of these around now, eh! i love them. 430 screaming past on Gloucester Rd Passat CC - Not particularly special but I liked the lighting and those stock wheels are just lovely. Great photos Fluffy! Missed your shots the last few weeks. As good as ever! Great set of photos there TYI! You've certainly got a large collection from your visit!
The Passat shot is great with the lighting, alomost like a stuido setting and well-lite. Tthe C class one look nice and the paint is unique in that it looked retouched. BTW, do U have a link for NSX pixs taken in the past?
Thanks for the comments! If you mean my NS-X pics, sure. Not enough of them on our roads IMO, one of my favourite cars. http://www.flickr.com/search/?w=48817379%40N03&q=nsx&m=text
I was in HK some weeks ago and went out for car spotting in Causeway Bay. I saw a California, 575 MM and a red 458 amongst others. But unfortunately I couldn't get a pic of the 458... here are some pics Martin Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

and some pics of an Aston and a C63. I'll be in HK again next weekend and I'll go to Tei Mei Tuk and Luk Keng on sunday morning if everything works out. Does anybody know if there's something special going on on the 31st? Is it Ok if I arrive at around 8:30am at Luk Keng or is that already too late? Thanks for your help Martin Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
458, Scud, Cali and 360 within a span of 5 mins walking to work today; reminds me once again how crazy this place is...
You know how much $$$ is being pumped into HK daily. The exotics U see everyday are nothing, go to Saikung/Discovery Bay and Aberdeen and see the gin palaces that are floating with more incoming and no berths or crew!!! But then U take a walk round # 1 car mart and see how many used exotics are being dumped into the market as well!! Quite a contrast here I must say as compared to any city I have visited too. With exception of perhaps London when it come to exotic cars.
Did that guard ask you to leave? I wanted get a pic of the 575 but he told me no pictures. Is Aaron's 599 a HGTE?
Had an amazing sight in Wanchai on Monday night, a black Merc CLK55 DTM (which is rare enough) followed shortly after by a 60's Holden Monaro HX GTS http://www.holden.org.au/images/HX_GTS_Monaro_1_sm.jpg! Both times the lights were green next to where I was sitting so they drove past without stopping which meant I couldn't get any pics. Would love a photo of the Monaro in the HK neon lights.
On my muscle car theme, I just saw what I'm pretty sure was a purple Chevrolet Chevelle SS with big black racing stripes between Kowloon and Sai Kung. Couldn't believe it so much that I was fumbling with my camera and didn't manage to get a pick. So infuriated! Does anyone know it? If so, was I right on the model? Amazing car!
Not that I know of. From my understanding, he had this car for awhile. Seems like he only changed the wheels as the exhaust doesn't have the fancy HGTE tips.
They didn't care about me. First I took a pic from outside, then walked in and had a closer look at the car and took 2 more pics. Martin
This car mart sounds very interessting. Could you or somebody else tell me where it is? I have some time next week when I'm in HK again and would love to check that place out Thanks! Martin
Its the parking garage for Grand Hyatt Hotel in Wanchai. U cannot miss it. largest selection of exotics/hi end cars in HK. Ur eyes will have a feast of the latest from used and grey imports!!!Almost any make in the world. Enjoy your visit.
